BOYS BLUE TEAM RUNS STREAK TO THREE AGAINST SACRED HEART

The Boys Blue team came out against Sacred Heart playing run of its best games of the season. The Chiefs defeated the Saints, 56-31. It was the highest point total for the Chiefs for the year. A poised offense in the first half proved to be beneficial for Powhatan. They faced multiple defense and handled it well. Powhatan took an early lead and never looked back. At the end of the first half the Chiefs had a 10 point lead, 26-16.

In the 2nd half the Chiefs were able to expand the lead as the faced full court pressure. They created open shots and fast break opportunities. The Chiefs had a balanced attack and saw 7 out of 10 players get in the scoring column.

Powhatan was led by Brant Bell's 22 points. Zach Buettner had his best game offensively finishing with 8 points. Chris Clark also added 8 points. Justin Virts and Josh Blake had 6 points apiece. Jonathan Crowley scored 4 points. Ryan Dorsch added had 2 points.
