Powhatan went on the road to face a tough LCDS squad on Thursday. The Chiefs weren't able to pull off a second surprise and fell to the Eagles 60-35. It was a first that was very similar to game one between the two teams. LCDS applied pressure early and slowly built a 26-17 lead at the half.

The defense for the Chiefs was unable to provide the spark as it did in the first game with a triangle and two defense. Good adjustments by the Eagles and strong play from two of its players proved to be too much for the Chiefs.

Powhatan was led by Chris Clark with 12 points. Brant Bell and Justin Virts scored 9 points and 6 points respectively. Zach Buettner and Josh Blake added 3 points apiece. Jonathan Crowley chipping in 2 points.
